Nobody let Lady Gaga see these.

Doll hair is arriving today, a day early! Lady Gaga has had her hair cut, removed, and the scalp paint wiped. I’m working until 4 today, which is fine since our mail doesn’t come until 4 anyway, so hopefully I’ll get to start working on it this evening. I’m excited and nervous! I haven’t done a re-root in years.
My Lady Gaga Monster High doll is due tomorrow, but she hasn’t even shipped yet.
I don’t think she’s going to come tomorrow.

I wonder if her face would work for Lady Gaga?
I broke down and bought the Blue Dress Wonder Woman doll. I think I paid a little over retail, but not too much. I want to use the head for a custom Lady Gaga doll. I think the face paint is passable as it, but I want to re-root her in blonde. The tricky thing is finding the right blonde.
Lady Gaga project has stalled, I don’t like the hair color I picked for her. Instead I’m working on the pink haired Talking Stacey project since I bought that hair at the same time. Hopefully I’ll like the blonde hair better in the daylight.
I ended up buying Lemon Blonde for Lady Gaga, I hope it’s the right shade. I do have Platinum Blonde in my stash, but was torn between Lemon and Sunlit Blonde. Hopefully it works well with the doll’s skin tone. I do want to get another doll to do in Silver but the Blonde one will be first. I also bought two shades of pink, hopefully one will work for Stacey. I forgot how expensive shipping is at DollyHair, I paid more for shipping than for each hair hank.
I’m trying to pose my Monster High Lady Gaga doll and her arms will not stay in. They popped out when I took her jacket off the first time, and I just cannot get them to stay in. Every time I move her arm, they just pop out. None of my other MH dolls do that. :(
So I just tried to remove a stain from a Gabby Douglas doll with acetone and it seems to have eaten through the first layer of vinyl on her forehead… so that was new.
